@Tamien yeah I agree, I think roleclaiming at this point is probably a bad idea because so many people have roleclaimed now and I don't know what the status of the protection powers is in this game but if there is one it's probably single-target. The problem is that using my power looks very suspicious out of context and people seem to be suspicious enough of me that I don't know if I'll be able to successfully defend myself. But I'm not going to roleclaim anyway because scum having less information is good.

So the problem I'm having is, even though we've got a lot of people confirmed town (like, Shoal, BSS, and Tamien should probably stay alive) of the people who have not been (aside from Eva who we're killing) none of the people I'm not sure are town seem all that scummy. Like, I kinda think epsilonbeta seems more scummy than HybridZizi but (a) he hasn't been acting scummy enough that I feel like I could successfully convince you all to kill him instead of me and (b) even if I could magically kill someone without having to convince you that the intended victim is scummy, I would worry that he's actually a townie with an important power and killing him is a huge mistake. And I'm also wondering if it's a mistake to keep PDV alive, since the longer he's alive the more likely it is that his caveats will kick in, and he hasn't been participating a lot anyway.

I guess having the who-do-we-kill conversation for tomorrow right now is a little premature, but since we're pretty much unanimous we might as well use the time we have to plan ahead.

I think that because HybridZizi possibly gave away her true name and might be controlled by fairies depending on how Eva pans out, and Anthusiasm implying that she has a power, now I'd kinda prefer a tracking on HybridZizi and a faction-read on Anthusiasm. I thought I should let people know that my preference had changed, even though I can't really do much about it.

I guess it's not the end of the world if I get two readings on the same person if that can happen, since if fairies can control people at night (again RE: Eva) then they might read as Town but track as killing someone. Although that'd mean someone else was a puppeteering murderfairy.

Out of the uninvestigated players, I have the strongest townread on epsilon. I'd prefer if people who thought of themselves as town didn't kill him if that's a thing they could do.

WHOOPS. Forgot to end day in a timely fashion. THE SUN RISES AND SETS AT MY WHIM, AND IF IT IS MY WHIM TO COMPLETELY FORGET ABOUT IT AND LEAVE IT SORT OF HANGING NEAR THE HORIZON FOR THE BETTER PART OF AN HOUR AFTER ITS BEDTIME, SO BE IT.

ANYWAY.

You move as one to slay Eva!

Don't cry for me Argentina
The truth is I never left you
All through my wild days
My mad existence
I kept my promise
Don't keep your distance

Have I said too much?
There's nothing more I can think of to say to you
But all you have to do is look at me to know
That every word is true

...or rather, that she has been HEINOUSLY LYING TO YOU ALL THIS TIME, ALTHOUGH THAT'S REALLY YOUR OWN CREDULITY, BECAUSE I'M NOT SURE HOW YOU MISSED THE PART WHERE SHE'S A HOUSE-SIZED EXOSKELETAL ICHOR-DROOLING MONSTER WITH ONE GLOWING BLUE EYE. Affiliation "sugar and spice and everything nice". Er, wait, no, that's my shopping list. SHE WAS A WOODS-DEATH AFFILIATION MAFIA.

Aaaaaand that's all she wrote. TOWN WINS IN AN EXPLOSION OF ANTICLIMAX. DON'T GET IT IN YOUR HAIR.

I blame Mafia's total lack of any chat whatsoever and eeeeerily accurate townpowers.

Obligatory hidden information reveal, as promised: I was Millicent Murk, the tracker, and when BlueSky posted results they looked ~oddly familiar~

I wonder whether I was actually contagious?

Alicorn wrote:You are ANANDA. You poor bastard. You win if at the end of the game players with an odd number of characters in their screen names outnumber those with even numbers of characters in their screen names. Because... because eugh you just can't stand it eugh eugh eugh. For reference, the people in this game whose screennames have even numbers of characters and are therefore eughful are: wolffreak567, Tamien, HybridZizi, and pistachi0n.

You're probably contagious. Fuck if you know by what vector.

You are DAVID ALTMAN. You are TOWN, and win when all the scum are dead. Once per night, you may target someone and learn their faction affiliation. (You've gotten better at steering since the events of "Rings".)

I am kindof hilariously lucky with getting to have cop roles, it seems!

Similarly to epsilonbeta, BSS conveniently kept pre-emptively agreeing with my recent investigative results in-thread. It only crystallized for me what was going on when she straight-up quoted the PM I had gotten, at which point I was briefly very panicked that my investigations might be leaking to the scum.

Of whom Tamien is the cop, pistachi0n is the daycop, and wolffreak is the vigilante? Nice :P

Here's a paste of my rolepm!

You are a WOODS-DEATH. Grawr. You are a monster and monsters are not known for their verbal collaboration, but you are insofar as you can be cooperative with fellow monster A KLAON (DanielH) and DAVINA (Paradox).

You and the klaon do the dirty work around here - it eats the souls, you eat the bodies, very equitable. That is, if you can agree on who to eat. Each night you may submit two names of people who look yummy. If the klaon has submitted any matching names, you get to eat all the people you agree on! Hurray! If you can't agree then Davina will pick somebody and kill them herself and you'll go hungry, boo-hoo. Cooperative hunting is a bit easier (given a clear target) than independent hunting, so if your fellow monster dies, you will only get to eat one person a night.

Deaths like you have a peculiar method of reproduction: if somebody kills you and they don't do it just right (for instance, if they're a vigilante who doesn't have exactly the right kind of sword) then you might have a little bundle of... death! Wouldn't that be nice? But you're normal amounts of vulnerable to lynching.

Don't let any food escape; you win when all the town are dead.

Your safeclaim is Harriet.
