The two Wind Waker threads by Rockeye and collaborators:

Adventure Calls (with Diaeresis's Anna as Link)
Vampires in Wind Waker (with Wizard of Woah!'s child vampires + Rockeye pups)

If you're not super-familiar with Wind Waker I recommend reading the threads in this order since the first one has been more faithful to the game's plot so far.

Have actually lasted long enough that quite a lot has happened in them; do a very good job of sticking faithfully to the tone of the Wind Waker universe, which is much more whimsical than typical glowfic settings; Rockeye as the setting narrator manages to be genre-aware without falling into genre-bashing and the coauthors do a good job of playing along.

room of requirement (HPverse and Ardas among others collect in Milliways), authors Alicorn and lintamande, complete. Benefits from exposure to Silmaril but could probably stand alone. Long as fuck. Particularly Good at doing a slice-of-life-in-a-peal thing that large continuities tend to skip, plus a very nice Maitimo/Bell relationship and some of the highest of high context plot events ever to be confusing to talk about on social media.

the winds of change, (Gregor as Harry Potter), authors Kappa and Pedro, complete with in progress sequels. Victor follows the plotline of the books, from eleven and living with the Dursleys, to eleven and settling into Hogwarts. It's a thread that's faithful to the books without relying too heavily on them or letting things get boring. I think Kappa and Pedro make a good blend of writers for the thread, Pedro captures the feel of the world of Harry Potter and the life essence of the characters that live in it, and Kappa brings a new fascinating spark that will make you want to scoop poor Victor up and take him away from this awful, awful world.

Two Sorts of Destiny, (Ellie in Wormverse), authors Diaeresis and Nemo, complete. Ellie has Glaistig Uaine's powerset, and causes appropriate amounts of havoc. A rare look into a properly villainous character causing havoc in Wormverse; Nemo is a delight as the setting as always, and Diaeresis shows that intelligent villains are scary, and just how far Ellie will go in pursuit of her own goals.

Hyperspace Routes, (Callida drops out of Hyperspace near Barrayar), authors Aestrix and Kappa, guest star Diaeresis, in progress. Barrayar gets a Sith Lord dropped on it, and the inhabitants find it more agreeable than many would expect. Contains a large cast of characters and a plotline about cultural exchange and cooperation, ditching your empire for a better one, and an eventual romance subplot. Picks up after Trials, which is recommended reading for maximum context, but is not required.

on the other side (Metamancer Kaede in Henshin), authors MaggieoftheOwls and Pedro, recently picked back up, for the Edie/Sadde ship, it is so cute and has the fantastic sentence "I will wait on the forensic archaeology before facepunching. It would be a shame to accidentally facepunch an innocent person."

beautiful and terrible as the dawn (Ambela Mirelótë in LotR-Era Arda) - Lots of great moments of Ambela, possibly a good intro to Lintamande's Arda for those who have read and liked LotR, Ambela reacts to the One Ring's tempting, fun moments with the One Ring, which turned out to be, like, weirdly extremely adorable, when made safe.
The WAFFLES will submit to this indignity.

in color (Fëanorians alted native to Amenta), authors Alicorn and lintamande, complete. Best available introduction to the setting and readable cold though previous exposure to lintamande's character stable wouldn't hurt. Excellent Irissë alt (Isel) arc and a good thread for pink-flavor Rebecca (Peka) and her standard issue relationship arc with the local Macalaurë too. Complete.

the prettiest song I heard (a Jean alted native to Threefold), authors Moriwen and kappa, holy shit torture if you are the sort of person who needs torture or torture-adjacent warnings skip it. Not the most explanatory setting showcase ever so knowing what's what in Threefold or at least looking at its setting thread would be good, but lots of great staring into the Jean's brain (metaphorically (mostly)) and character dynamic between him and the local Gregor is choice.

A Ghost Story (a Sadde alted native to Soulfire), authors Pedro and Rockye_stonetoe, hiatused. Decent intro to the very nifty Soulfire setting and probably readable cold; fun with genies &c being weirdos.

I'm going to go through and update my DW links. Anybody else who wants should take this as a prompt to do the same.

One waits on Andaisq to make some accounts.

time and trouble, authors kappa and Maggie, stalled. Only work in the setting that I know of, better with prior exposure to kappa!Sergs, good intro to Maggie's Anise template, all the warnings so many warnings aaaaaah.
