Capitalism is black according to Mark Rosewater. He brings it up every time somebody asks him what's black and good.

Edit: hence Caranthir the Black, presumably.

Capitalism and free markets might be mostly black, but anything connected to a term like “spontaneous order” probably has at least some white in there.

Maitimo - white - perception, governance, compromise
Macalaurë - red - emotion, spectacle, song
Tyelcormo - green - wild, untamed, animals
Carnistir - black - capitalism
Curufin - blue - knowledge
twins - colorless - filling necessary roles adequately

I'd be inclined to swap Maitimo and Carnistir - governance is normally white, and capitalism normally black, but realpolitik and a concern for one's reputation are black and strong oppinions about the best way to orgainse society are generally white.
