I haven’t heard that, but wouldn’t expect to have. I think most of then would find it acceptable, but not particularly like it. I am wondering how the Dan-lings would feel about it, though. (Speaking of Dans, I still can’t figure out what it is that separates them from Dars. My guess was gender, but even if we assume that the reincarnating one is sometimes female, that doesn’t explain the Prince in the Cinerella-based world).

If I recall correctly, Dans as opposed to Dars are unusual-in-some-way, including but not limited to being female or lacking a twin.

leave me with my delusions of courtroom shenanigans xD

So you won't alert her if you summon a Demon Cam through other means.

I like "Dar-lings", specially if Zevis tease them about it :)

I’m pretty sure the material implication “If I summon Demon Cam other than ‘accidentally with a car’, I won’t tell him about Alicorn et al.” is true, but certainly not the causal implication. Also, I suspect that I’m far more likely to summon Cam for the same reason he summoned his first daeva than for any other reason.

Is Chamomile’s lack of HDM afterlife related to the simplicity of Ice’s immortality spell as compared to Amaraiah’a?

EDIT: I accidenta'ly asked about res spells originally. I know that the listed reason is why Amaraiah doesn’t have such a thing and Ice does.

That, and the Incandescence peal doesn't have a way to actually address something as complicated and hard-mode as the Alethian afterlife. And we didn't want Chamomile to be a sheaf. Amariah (Dreamer) doesn't actually have a rez spell. She got ahold of the peal first and was distracted.

I think it's nice to have a thread where we don't inmediately know how/if the world is special.

Medallion-type-world headcanon: The estimate of 50% critters was _low_, and in fact _all_ the humans are secret critters - it's just that the rest of the medallion types are all lost.

This has interesting implications for any Darren who learns to make arbitrary medallions.
